DREADMOOR is the first game from Warsaw-based Dream Dock, published by Digital Vortex Entertainment. It is a first-person fishing and survival game set in a flooded world, and it has been visible on Steam since 2024. The release date was confirmed on 15 October 2026, with pricing following on 19 October.
"DREADMOOR is a dark first-person fishing adventure game set in a submerged world, rotting from a past catastrophe." — DREADMOOR on Steam
DREADMOOR release date and release time
The Steam page lists 9 November 2026. Digital Vortex has not announced a specific hour or a staggered regional unlock. Steam usually releases games at 10:00 Pacific / 18:00 UTC / 19:00 CET, but that is a platform convention, not a confirmed DREADMOOR time. Treat the date as fixed and the hour as unconfirmed.
| Region | Date |
|---|---|
| Europe (CET) | 9 November 2026 |
| United Kingdom | 9 November 2026 |
| United States (PT/ET) | 9 November 2026 |
| Australia / New Zealand | 9–10 November 2026 depending on unlock hour |
The game is a Windows PC release. Steam lists Windows only; macOS and Linux are not supported. For the hardware side, the system requirements page has the full minimum and recommended tables.
DREADMOOR price
| Edition | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Base game | $19.99 | DREADMOOR Early Access |
| Early Access Supporter Pack | $4.99 | Optional add-on for players who want to support development |
The Supporter Pack is exactly that: a support purchase, not a content expansion. Digital Vortex has not published a list of cosmetic or in-game rewards for it, so do not buy it expecting a specific item. If you only want the game, the $19.99 base edition is the complete Early Access product.
Regional pricing from the official price announcement:
| Currency | Price |
|---|---|
| USD | $19.99 |
| EUR | €20.49 |
| GBP | £17.75 |
| RUB | ₽855 |
| CNY | ¥77 |
| CAD | C$23.99 |
| AUD | A$28.50 |
| BRL | R$67.99 |
| JPY | ¥2,600 |
| KZT | ₸5,720 |
Steam regional pricing can move before launch, so check the store page in your own currency on release day. The base price is modest for a survival game, which fits the Early Access scope: one major region and a complete core loop, not a finished multi-region campaign.
Is the demo still available?
Yes. The standalone DREADMOOR Demo is free and does not require the base game. It includes its own questline, a remote settlement and surrounding islands, boat and on-foot exploration, fishing, scavenging, a local engineer and a dry dock upgrade. It ends at the gate out of the starting region.
The demo is a separate app, not a beta branch. You can keep it installed after launch, but no save carry-over to Early Access has been announced. Plan on starting a fresh run on 9 November. The demo overview covers length and content; the walkthrough covers every quest.
Do not grind the demo expecting resources to transfer. Treat it as a free tutorial and a test of whether your PC runs the game.
Platforms and languages
DREADMOOR is PC only at launch. There is no PlayStation, Xbox or Switch version, and no co-op or multiplayer mode. The PS5 and Xbox status page tracks the console question, and the co-op page explains the single-player design.
The Early Access build supports 12 languages:
- English, French, Italian, German, Spanish (Spain)
- Portuguese (Brazil), Polish, Russian, Japanese
- Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean
Voice acting is English and Russian only. Every other language is text and subtitles. That matters for the European audience: if you play in German, French or Polish, expect the original English or Russian voices rather than a local dub.
What Early Access means here
This is not a content-complete release. Dream Dock describes Early Access as the complete core loop plus one major region, with 6–12 months of planned development. After the story content ends, the waters remain open for rare specimens and further upgrades.
That is a reasonable structure for a fishing game: the loop of sail, fish, process, trade and upgrade is already in the demo, and the Early Access build extends it. The risk is content volume, not whether the core works. If you want a finished story with every region, waiting is sensible. If you want to fish now and watch the game grow, $19.99 is a fair entry price.
