Controls. Fishing uses mouse movement or A/D alternation, plus right-mouse tension. A controller works, but a console certification pass would freeze the control scheme earlier than the studio may want.
Scope. One region, 6–12 months of work. Adding two console platforms multiplies certification and QA without adding content.
Can you play DREADMOOR on a console via streaming?
Not officially. There is no GeForce Now, Xbox Cloud Gaming or PS Plus streaming listing. The demo is a local PC download. If you have a PC and a TV, an HDMI cable is the only supported "console" experience at launch.
Should you wait for a console version?
If you only play on PS5 or Xbox, yes. Buying a PC for one $19.99 fishing game is not sensible unless you want the wider PC survival library.
